UMXRAY157 50kW Z-Arm Digital Radiography System
The UMXRAY157 50kW Z-Arm Digital Radiography System combines a 50kW high-frequency X-ray generator, a 17 × 17-inch wired flat-panel detector and an electronically adjustable Z-arm for general radiographic examinations. Its floor-standing arrangement supports upright and table-based positioning in hospitals and diagnostic imaging facilities.
The tube and detector move synchronously during positioning. The system offers electronic source-to-image distance (SID) adjustment from 1000 to 1800 mm, a 9.5-inch LCD touch screen and a DR workstation for patient registration, exposure control, image processing and DICOM-based workflows.
System Features
- Flexible Z-arm positioning: Vertical travel, Z-arm rotation and independent tube/detector angle adjustment.
- Electronic SID: Adjustable from 1000 to 1800 mm in vertical or horizontal configuration.
- One-key positioning: Presets for flat-bed and chest radiography positions.
- 17 × 17-inch wired detector: Amorphous-silicon panel with 3071 × 3071 pixel matrix and 16-bit quantization.
- 50kW generator: 40–150 kV, 10–630 mA and 0.1–630 mAs specified ranges.
- DR workflow: RIS worklist support, DICOM transfer to PACS, image processing, reports and examination templates.

DR Workstation and Imaging Workflow
Patient and Study Management
The workstation supports RIS worklist retrieval, manual examination registration and emergency quick registration. Operators can search historical studies, view images, prepare reports and transfer DICOM images to compatible PACS environments.
Exposure Control and Image Processing
Examination templates may load associated exposure settings, which can be adjusted before exposure. Other listed functions include focal-spot control, generator-status display, image acceptance or rejection, window/level adjustment, rotation, scaling, measurements and edge enhancement.
Film and Report Handling
The software supports image layout settings, film-printing queues, report output and configurable patient information display. Check interoperability with the receiving facility’s RIS/PACS and printing hardware.
Optional Functions
- Automatic Exposure Control (AEC): Optional exposure-control function.
- Image stitching: Optional image-combination feature.
- EE-PACS: Optional PACS platform; separate from standard DICOM image-transfer functions.
These functions are optional and should be individually confirmed in a configuration-specific quotation.
Typical Applications
- General radiographic examinations in hospitals and medical imaging departments.
- Upright chest radiography and table-based examinations using the listed positioning presets.
- Digital X-ray room installation or system upgrade, subject to room, power and regulatory assessment.
Installation and Procurement Considerations
The listed minimum room height is 2.4 m. The supplied documents do not provide a complete room footprint, electrical feed requirements or radiation-shielding design. Confirm room layout, shielding, electrical supply, commissioning, staff training and local regulatory requirements before installation.
